Playdate with Mommy...

Today I had the day off from work and , boy oh boy, did little Anthony and I take advantage of it! We slept in till 9:30! Woo Hoo! What a treat! When we FINALLY got our lazy butts out of bed, we got ready and went out for breakfast at our favorite Jersey diner, "The Phily Diner" (no that isn't a type-o... it only has one "l" and I'll give some points to anyone who knows why there is only one "l" in "Phily Diner"). Anyway, Anthony had his favorite, pancakes and chocolate milk, and I enjoyed a nice omelet with sliced tomatoes. MMM MMM MMMMMMM!!!!! We had a yummy time!

Once we were finished scarfing down our breakfast, we went to "Jellybean Jungle", this indoor playland-type place for kids under five. My little man had a BLAST running all over the place, playing in the ball pit, merry-go-round, and the GIANT "tube maze". He was so excited when we arrived, he couldn't wait for me to finish paying his admission... he tried running straight through the gate to get to the amusements. He was a bit nervous the first time he went inside the "tube maze", but after he made his way through and saw the other kids playing in it... he was off and running... didn't need me to show him how to do it anymore! "Come on, Mom! I'm a BIG BOY, now!" HA! He had such a great time, when it was time to go home... he cried half the way home, pointing out the window, saying "paygund, paygund, Mommy!" My was heart melting and I was cracking up with laughter at the same time. Funny!

He fell fast asleep on the way home and took a 3 and a half hour nap! Wow! By the time My little buddy woke up, it was almost time for Daddy to come home and for us to grab some dinner! What a day! I can't wait for another opportunity to go back... this time we'll take Daddy along with us so he can have some fun too!
