Later in the day, we played around our house for while before going out for some yummy Vietnamese food at one of our favorite restaurants, Nam Phuong. If you are ever in Philly, we definitely recommend you try this place. They make excellent "Bun" (vermicelli noodle) dishes and the best grilled chicken meatballs! Little An
thony loves the Cha Goi, or Vietnamese Spring rolls! He will seriously eat 2 or 3 of them all by himself! Yikes!
On our way home tonight, it occurred to me just how much our little boy is growing up! He was sitting in the back of our truck, in his car seat... singing along with the songs on the radio! Big Anthony and I just about cried laughing at how he was singing... I really wish I could've taken a audio of him! He was completely foulin' up the lyrics... he was singing along in Anthony-ese, completely unintelligable to you and I... but made total sense to him! What truly amazed us was that he managed to remain, pretty much on key! I just thought to myself... "Wow, he really ISN'T a baby anymore, is he??" UGH! I can't take it! The next thing you know, we'll be sending him off to College!
Ok.. so many of you have a had a good laugh at my expense, so I figured I'd update you about "The Vaseline Incident" in my last post! I got plenty of calls and emails about how to handle the mess... here is how it went... Once I found out what he had done, I wiped him down with his wipies (hair and all) as they are pretty good grease cutters (I recommend using them on your stove to get that "stuck on greasy vapor junk" off...works like a charm!). Then it was off to a nice warm bath... I actually had to wash his hair twice. I sort of got it out... lets just say he has a beautiful sheen on his hair today! LOL! So that was pretty much it... He really didn't get too much if it into his hair... most of it was on his body. I really think he was trying to "lotion up" as I use Vaseline pretty regularly on him to moisturize his skin. Looking back, it was very cute... wasn't at the moment... but is now! Ha!
Anyway, I will leave you my fav pic of the day.... Here you see Anthony trying to feed me my necklace. I think I love this picture so much because it was only a short time ago when I struggled to even get him to let me change his diaper and feed him his lunch, not mention sit on my lap or show affection. It truly amazes me how far he has come in such a short time... He is my hero!
Peace to you all....

Awe, such a sweet boy. I love that last pic. Precious :)
Your last picture made me cry.
We all have such AMAZING kids. When you think of all they have been through in their little lives it amazes me.
