We finally celebrated Anthony's Birthday Party this weekend! We had a great time with family and friends... a good time was had by all. Anthony's Birthday fell pretty close to the Tet Holiday this year, which is the the New Year Celebration in Vietnam. So we took the opportunity to introduce our family to a bit of Viet. We themed the party after the Lunar New Year and decorated everything in traditional Red and Yellow/Gold. Anthony's Birth-name means "Dragon"... so.. Dragons, Dragon, Dragon, everywhere... we also had food catered from a local restaurant, Nam Phuong. The food was fantastic and people seemed to really enjoy their first VNese tasting! We are thinking of hosting a Tet Party every year because it was such a hit. It was kind of funny, though, Big Anthony had to stand next to the buffet line to explain what each dish was so that folks knew what they were eating. We also offered some Italian dishes to satisfy the "not so adventerous" folks in our family... at the end of the night, we had a ton of Ziti and Roast Beef left, but no Pan-fried Noodles, Spring Rolls, or Banh Hoi! HA!
Little Anthony had a great time hanging out with everone. He was so comfortable, it was so nice to see him running around with all of the other kiddos. It really seems as though he has been with our family forever! There must have been 50 -60 people in the room and he knew everyone of them and was comfortable with almost all of them. No more is he shy and clingy... but incredibly funny and outgoing... non-stop! He has arrived!

It looks like he had a great birthday party! I am so sad that Bailey and Morgan didnt get to stay long enough to join in the activities with him! Next year!

What a fantastic party. Wow, you guys really went all out. Awesome! I bet everyone had a wonderful time including the sweet birthday boy.
