Happy Halloween!!!

"Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting, and autumn a mosaic of them all."
-Stanley Horowitz

Well, autumn has officially arrived here in New Jersey. Little Anthony is doing well... except for the ongoing ear infections we just can't seem to shake. I swear they need to change to name for Pre-School to "The Petri Dish"!!! It seems like every week, he is bringing home a new germ to infect us with! LOL! Anyway, he is having a blast enjoying school and making friends. He has grown quite fond of his Teacher, Ms. Tausha. Anthony is beginning to talk more and more each day, it seems like there is a new word everytime I turn around... and some of them are cracking me up! He says our dog's name (which is Kyra) sort of like "Grlirla"... it's hysterical! He is still saying "thank you" each time he gives you something.. but not when you give him something... and the "thank you" is pronounced sort of like "tank-nnnnn"...funny kid!

Here is just after he came home from school... all happy and giddy cause Momma just picked him up!

The end of September, we kicked off our Autumn Festivities by taking a little roadtrip out to see Anthony's Aunt Diana and Uncle Mike. While we were there, we went to the Bloomsberg County Fair, in Bloomsberg PA. Anthony had a great time seeing all the animals and hanging out with his GodParents for a few days. Momma and Daddy, on the other hand, ate like piggies and gained like 5 lbs in one day!!! Oh My! But we had a great time and besides, who can resist grilled corn on the cob, fresh sausages, sweet potato waffles, and warm apple dumplings with vanilla ice cream! HA!

Here are some pics of Anthony playing at Aunt Diana'a as well as with Unlce Mike at the Fair!

Early in October, we visited Johnson's Farm in South Jersey to go Apple and Pumpkin Pickin'. Anthony loved taking the tractor ride out into the orchards and running through the fields. Afterwards, we spent some time in the animal farm... had a blast! Here are some pics...

Pumpkin decorating has long been a family tradition. We were more than happy to share this tradition with our son! A messy, fun time was had by all! We even got Kyra, the dog, into the good times... by the time we were finished... she had paint all over her ears! LOL! Anthony loves to do any kind of arts & craft project... the messier, the better, too! Here are some pics of our night....

Fire Prevention Night! WOW! All those big, GIANT, firetrucks! A little boys dream come true... what could be better... how about having an uncle who is a Fireman and can give you the 1st Class Tour! YIPPIE!!!! What a Night! Little Anthony had such a great time climbing all over the place with Uncle Mike... lucky kid got a chance to shoot the firehose, too! He even got a surprise visit from Aunt Diana!!!! The only thing that made the night better was that Momma was able to capture his big giant smile on camera!

BOO!!!! Anthony's first Halloween was a success! He strutted his stuff as a Lil' Indian Brave. My Grandfather, always used to call me and my sister his "Lil' Indians". So, it was kinda cool we chose this costume for his Great-Grandson... the Lil'est Indian. Well, GreatGrandpa must've been watchin over him and there must have been some extra cuteness goin on cause Anthony won his first trophy at the "Halloween Costume Parade & Judging" in town! Way to go, son! My lil' Indian was so cute Trick-or-Treating... when we would go up to a house to get the candy... he would hold out his hand and take it... then he would refuse to put it in his bucket. He would hold on to it 'til the next house, then give to them and try to trade for their candy! Funny kid! Here is Anthony in his Halloween Costume...

Today is Election Day... Big Anthony and I decided, since we had the day off from work, we'd keep little Anthony home, too. We felt no time would be better to start fullfilling our promise to the DOJ Officials back in Vietnam.... "to teach our son to grow into a good citizen". Little Anthony and I voted today... nope we won't tell you who we voted for... but I can tell you we voted for change and that he really thought those buttons in the voting booth were cool! LOL! Here is my little man all decked out in Patriotic- Red, White, and Blue!

Ok... so before I close this post out... this South Jersey Girl needs to send a shout out to The 2008 World Series Champs... The Philadelphia Phillies! What a Series! Go Phightin' Phills! My Pop-Pop Watson passed away in Dec. 2006, there are two events I wish he could have stuck around to see... one is my son coming home and the other.... well, that was the Phills taking the Series baby! I just know he is seeing red in heaven and lovin' every minute of it! Love you Pops!

Great update! Love all the pics. The frequent colds from school sure sound familiar. Autumn has been sick every month since being home (including right now) :(.

I do love how her development has just soared since being in school though.
