WOW!!!! There has been a lot of movement in Vietnam Adoptions these days! It has been very difficult to keep up with everyone! HA! Congratulations to all of you who have recently received referrals, your children are all little darlings! We have been praying that each of you would receive referrals prior to the Sept 1 Deadline... We know this news comes with such a wonderous joy- enjoy it! It won't be long until your special little ones are in your arms! For our friends who have all recently received news relating to the status of their Adoptions.... YAY! You are all ONE STEP CLOSER!!!!! We cannot wait to see the first family pictures with all of your little ones! Such a wonderful journey you are on!
Special Congratulations to the Nagan Family, who JUST received word they will be travelling to get their daughter! Maria and family, your journey has been especially inspirational and your faith has been incrediable. We look forward to following as you journey on your Blog and learning more about your special family! Safe Travels!
On antoher note...
As we move closer to September 1st, Anthony and I become more and more aware of the looming Dealine in Vietnam/ US Adoptions. There are still soooooo many children who need loving homes and soooooo many families who are more than willing to provide these homes. We just hope these two great governments can act in the interest of the children and make an agreement which would serve to provide strong guidelines for ethical Adoptions in Vietnam. Because really... when all is said and done... it is the orphaned children of Vietnam who will sacrifice when US/Vietnam Adoption cease. We continue to pray for these children as well as the people who may be determining their fate.... we ask that all our friends and families do the same.
