Thanks!

Hey folks! Not much new news to report since the approval of our Homestudy. We are still in the beginning phases of our "wait to be matched". Things have been moving along at home though. We are beginning to plan the changes we will be making to our home in anticipation of receiving our little one. That's kind of exciting, but a little stressful too. There is sooo much to do! I guess all new parents go through this type of anxiety though...waiting for the new baby, trying to make everything perfect for their arrival, worrying about the future, etc...etc...

There are somethings that I would like to say to those of you out there readinging this blog... I wanted to say "thank you" for all of the support you have given us. We REALLY appreciate ALL of your well-wishes and prayers, Lord knows we need them!!!! LOL! This time of year is a particualrly difficult time for me. As Mother's Day rapidly approaches, it becomes more difficult to remain positive and focused on our family goals. It is so easy to get lost in our struggle and forget what is important. However, I am lucky enough to have the greatest people supporting me and am reminded daily to remain focused on the blessings we have and to look foward to the blessing of the future. It is so very nice to know that you are all here for me and Anthony for whenever we need you. Each time I doubt whether I am strong enough to make it through this, one of you senses it and says or does something (might even be a little thing) to get me back on track! Today was a particularly difficult day for me. When I came home, I checked my e-mail to find I had a message from a very special friend, who always seems to have a 6th sense when it comes to me. In the e-mail was a poem that read:

A Moonbeam

Take a glimpse into the sky
And if a moonbeam hits your eye
Follow it back to whence it came
And dream of a child who'll bear your name.

A little one may look right back
And follow a beam along it's track
And see a mother awaiting the day
In who's arms forever to stay.

Again thank you for everything...it's little things like this that mean sooooo much!
