The DePrince Clan went down to Storybook Land for our Annual pilgrimage for their Festival of Lights and visit with Santa! This event is one my favorite things we do during the holidays and it is always the pefrect kick-off! The little ones always have such a great time going on all the rides and the park looks soo pretty all decorated with the lights, twinkling so brightly. The highlight of the night is ALWAYS the train-ride! Now, the DePrince's roll deep....real deep...we get there with let's say 15- 25 people each year...sometimes more, sometimes less. Usually, we have enough folks to fill up the train at the park! The train rides throughout the entire place with our whole family on it... We take the opportunity to do some Christmas Carolling...THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS...at TOP of ou lungs! It is fantastic! By the time we are off the train, we are all hoarse and those who are not, are red-faced and embarrassed! It's lovely! After we sing our hearts out, we warm up with some Hot Chocolate and then end the evening witha visit with Santa! Whata night!
