After the New Year we received a call from our agency indicating that we received MOJ (Ministry of Justice) approval on December 17th. This is the federal level of approval in Vietnam. Our paperwork is now in the hands of the provincial government for their review and approval. This on average takes in the range of about two months. So we are still on schedule....That is good news!
As some of you know, we participate in a pretty active adoptive family online community where we have made many friends. One of those families is currently in Vietnam in the same province where our Anthony is. It looked like it was possible that our son was living in the same foster family as their son. They offered to bring a package for him...As it turns out when they got there to pick up their son from the orphanage, both our foster families were actually neighbors. Anthony's foster mom actually drove the other family's foster mom and child to the orphanage. So our friends were actually able to meet Anthony's foster mom and give her the package directly!! How awesome!!!! See pictures below!
